You listen to me, you son-of-a-bitch! There's a kid out there usin' his car to kill people, not that it's such a big deal since it seems to be your gang he's got it in for... so, if you guys try to take the law into your own hands, and that killer turns up dead, I'm gonna see you all sniffin' cyanide in the Arizona gas chamber.
Some people define wraith as a ghost, however my definition extends to alternate definition b: A fucking odd movie that confused and creeped the hell out of me as a kid. Not since The ...

Well this week's throwback concerns both the band and the movie about the band. I finally got to see Anton Corbijn's biopic about Ian Curtis this week (called "Control") and I thought what better to tackle as a throwback for the week than a throwback to this short-lived but great band. As I'm sure you know, Joy Division was a band in England back in the late 70s that was critical in the rise of the post-punk movement, creating a very unique and brooding sound that influenced a generation of musicians and fans. So here we have the second Hulk movie, starring Ed Norton and Liv Tyler, and while the movie is not bad, and an improvement on the first Hulk movie, there are some issues I have with this movie. Now I'm not entirely sure why they made this movie, aside from just simply setting up the Avengers thing. You and me, we're gonna have a fight. Today. After school. Three o'clock. In the parking lot. You try and run, I'm gonna track you down. You go to a teacher, it's only gonna get worse. You sneak home, I'm gonna be under your bed.
Easily one of the most overlooked and underrated movies of the eighties, Three O’Clock High s still an amazing flick. The film follows a defining day in the life of Jerry Mitchell, an above average student and nerd running the school bookstore and a writer for the school newspaper.

Well the news has come down that legendary Hollywood special effects master Stan Winston passed away at the age of 62. This is a sad loss for all of movies, as this guy was really one of the great pioneers in the area of not only special effects, but specifically in the area of fearsome/gruesome creature special effects.

Ellen Ripley
Sigourney Weaver’s character Ripley in the Alien films is often praised for her heroine qualities, however every time I watch Alien I weep for the future. Few characters in cinema have been forced to eat the amount of shit Ripley has. Between dodging aliens at every corner, her character is constantly getting fucked with.

Dear Roger,
Let me start by saying, I have enjoyed our time together. Listening to your witty quips about Trish’s pot roasts, watching Rianne, Nick, and Carrie grow up…the condom commercial fiasco still makes me smile. These joys aside, we need to talk. This shit is getting old.
