Lollapalooza Aftershow Aftermath
Well it has been a crazy morning of website errors and whatnot, but I am happy to say our happy little DBF group will be rolling to exactly the shows we wanted to go to, the Rogue Wave on Friday and the BSS on Saturday (with Yeasayer opening). It is a good thing that Sunday seems to be the slowest day of the festival for people I like since I will most likely be worn the fuck out after all of this madness. Should be good times though. Broken Social Scene @ Dillo Day - 5.31.08
Northwestern had a pretty fair lineup of bands going for their annual end of the year Dillo Day up in Evanston, notably the great Broken Social Scene, so I decided to roll up to E-town to check out their free show. The rest of the lineup was pretty good as well with the Cool Kids and Common up that night, but I didn't really catch anyone else unfortunately. Belated Lollapalooza Lineup Post
Well I was anticipating making an ACL post today, but the lineup didn't really get me excited (see my earlier post) so I have decided to go back and make the post I was going to make last week. Lolla is really in a class of its own as far as festivals go this summer, and I'm quite excited (and I have tix) for this year.
