Thanks to Jill for this one. I had heard several times about Radiohead covering this song in soundcheck, but hadn't actually heard the cover yet, and it is pretty good. This is probably my fave song of the year so far, and my fave album also.

Amazing. That really sums it all up right there. My mind was thoroughly blown and my face extensively melted from the rock bomb that Radiohead dropped on us Sunday night. For the last night of their first leg of the US tour, they played the Superpages.com Center (formerly Smirnoff) in Dallas next to Fair Park. We're getting really close now kids. As you can see above, Radiohead have invested some money in a new lighting setup. Supposedly its some low energy LED system, I don't really care what it is because it looks bad ass.

I know all the DBFers have been sad with the recent lack of countdown posts, but I am back and better than ever. I've basically been drunk ever since my last post so I couldn't be bothered. Today's installment finds us with a big throwback. This one is from 1993 on Conan with the lads playing 'Creep', and its a pretty damn good performance. Also, its nice to look back and remember that Jonny Greenwood has been melting faces and hearts for 15 years now.

For the latest installment of Radiohead Countdown we have a performance of 'Nude' on Jonathan Ross's show. Thom and the boys stripped this version down a tiny bit by leaving out some of the backing vocals and atmospheric sounds, and Thom sounds amazing. Its also a stunning visual display with the white lights drowing out the color, and leaving a purple tinged lava lamp effect on the back wall. The guys are definitely on their A game so get your face ready!

Well I was anticipating making an ACL post today, but the lineup didn't really get me excited (see my earlier post) so I have decided to go back and make the post I was going to make last week. In an effort to get a little extra Radiohead fix between now and their show at Superpages.com Center, [what a terrible name] I will be posting some Radiohead related content. I'm not sure it will be every day, or what it will be when I do post. I do know that I had to start off with a crazy performance of Go to Sleep from Jools Holland's show Later. Go to Sleep is my favorite song from Hail to the Thief, and Jonny's solo at the end of this song his legendary. Enjoy.
