Lollapalooza Aftershow Aftermath
Well it has been a crazy morning of website errors and whatnot, but I am happy to say our happy little DBF group will be rolling to exactly the shows we wanted to go to, the Rogue Wave on Friday and the BSS on Saturday (with Yeasayer opening). It is a good thing that Sunday seems to be the slowest day of the festival for people I like since I will most likely be worn the fuck out after all of this madness. Should be good times though. Death Cab For Cutie/Rogue Wave - Millennium Park - 6/3/08
DBF's first foray into the Pritzker Music Pavilion at Millennium Park was last night to check out the DCFC/Rogue Wave tour. The venue is actually pretty nice and the sound was pretty good even out on the lawn where we were sitting, but no one designed this thing with the intention of anyone beyond the seating area actually seeing anything on stage. From pretty much everywhere on the lawn you can just barely see the light fixtures sitting probably 40 feet above the stage. Record Store Day

Record Store Day
Well, tomorrow is officially "Record Store Day", and I thought I would just put a little note on here about it. I'm not really sure that most people buy physical records anymore. I still do, because I like to have a copy of good albums, and sometimes paying the same price for something that just exists on my hard drive as a CD I can put in my car/stereo/whatever just isn't that appealing.
